Salts & Seasonings
Again, we are very pleased to offer Elizabeth Buchanan's Salt Spring Savouries. Her handcrafted, optimally dried salts and seasonings make flavourful and healthful additions to many dishes. They give a wonderful boost to dressings, dips, roasted veggies, tofu, popcorn, soups and stews. Elizabeth grows the herbs and veggies used in her salts and seasonings by sustainable, organic methods on her own South Ridge Farm. Additional ingredients come from other local organic farms on Salt Spring Island. The Salts have small amounts of sea salt while the Seasonings have no salt added. Small tins are $7.50 and large tins are $11.
