New, Shiitake Mushrooms (Lentinula edodes) ($25.00)
Shiitake mushrooms have been used for centuries to stimulate our immune system, helping us to resist diseases. Shiitakes stimulate the human body to produce lymphocytes, macrophages and interferon, which are our internal infection fighting agents. There are also proven anti-tumor agents in Shiitake, and they are being used to treat people with ovarian cysts and cancer of all kinds. They also inhibit the overgrowth of Candida albicans. These mushrooms lower blood cholesterol and contain high amounts of B6, B12, and D2. A steady supply of B and D vitamins in ones diet helps to balance the nervous system, regulate emotions and sleeping patterns, and can increase sexual vigor.

This is the first mushroom confirmed to have anti-HIV activity, as well as very strong anti-tumor constituents.
