New, Joyce's Brandywine ($3.50)
This is a smaller member of the Brandywine family, with uniform shape, a nice medium red colour, and starts to ripen earlier. Flavour is lower acid, but rich, and makes an excellent slicer.
Black Krim » certified organic ($3.50)
Heirloom from Krim on the Black Sea. Tomatoes have dark greenish-black shoulders. 6-12 oz.
Carbon ($3.50)
Taste test winner the past 3 years! 8-12 ounce tomatoes that ripen to dark red with blackish overtones. Deep red interior. Fruits are flattened round and smooth, without cracking or blemishing. Rich, sweet, complex flavour. Excellent for salads and sandwiches.

Italian paste tomato from the 19th Century. Heavily lobed, deep-red, 8 ounce fruit. Stellar flavour is intense and acidic. Fantastic for sauces and pastes. Continues to produce in cool weather.

Great Brandywine taste. Selected for uniform regular fruit and earliness.
Sicilian Saucer ($3.50)
Beefsteak type. Flattened uniform shape, scarlet colour. Excellent production on semi-determinate plants, keeps well on the vine and once picked. Smooth rich texture and flavour. Use as a slicer, salad tomato, and for processing. This Italian heirloom is rated 10 for flavour.
Sudduths Brandywine ($3.50)
Grown by the Sudduth family for nearly 100 years. Up to 2 pounds. Dusty rose. Unsurpassed acid but unique and complex flavour.
Tasmanian Yellow ($3.50)
Bright lemon yellow beefsteak type with flat tops. Semi-determinate vines, start producing from mid season. We have counted up to 40 fruit per plant. Skins are tender, flesh is smooth and the flavour is zesty. Good keeper on the vine and once picked. Best for outside. Rated 10 for flavour. Rare heirloom.
Radiator Charlie's Mortgage Lifter » certified organic ($3.50)
Flattened/round, large, deep red beefsteak. The original cultivar made famous in the 30's. The best flavour. Great slicer.
Valencia ($3.50)
This is a huge golden orange, almost round fruit, very solid and heavy. Has a meaty texture with a sweet flavour and a touch of acid. Excellent slicer. Rated 9 for flavour.
Yellow Mortgage Lifter ($3.50)
Bright yellow colour.Nice meaty texture and thin skins, with a rich, medium zesty flavour .An excellent producer on semi determinate vines.Always dependable, best grown outside.Rated 10 for flavour.
Tibet Tomato ($3.50)
Rare. Pinkish-red mid-sized slicer. Cold tolerant. Sweet, rich flavour. Produces well throughout season.
Purple Brandywine ($3.50)
Potato leaf, dark pink, irregular fruit in clusters of 3-5. Ripens early for large tomato. Produces well.
Rose ($3.50)
Dusty rose coloured beefsteak type. Has nice ridges that run from the top to the bottom of fruit, with a tender and shiny skin. Has a nice dense texture, with a very complex flavour, starts out sweet and finishes with a slight acid zest. Semi-determinate plants ripen well in cooler conditions and produce well. Rated 10 for flavour.
Russian Rose Tomato ($3.50)
Beautiful picture perfect shape, dusty rose coloured beefsteak type, average size 3-4 inches across. Thrives in the greenhouse and outdoors. It starts to get ripe mid-summer. Rich balanced, true tomato flavour. Makes an excellent slicer and has thin skins.
