Famous old Native American heirloom, produces golden-yellow beefsteak fruits averaging 5", ripening mid -season. Meaty and smooth texture, fruity, almost mango-like flavour with great sweet/acid balance.
Cosmonaut Volkov ($3.50)
From the Ukraine, vigorous and hardy. All-around excellent tomato. Round, slightly flattened fruits have a full, complex flavor and great acid/sweet balance.
Sicilian Saucer ($3.50)
Italian heirloom beefsteak type. Flattened, uniform shape, scarlet coloured fruits. Excellent production on semi-determinate plants, keep well on the vine and when picked. Smooth rich texture and flavour. Use as a slicer, salad tomato and for processing. Rated 10 for flavour. Disease resistant.
