This bean was offered for sale as early as 1802 and has been grown by the Amish for generations. The Seneca and Iroquois called it the Corn Hill Bean. The beautiful seed is small, squarish, beige, with rose speckling on one end. It is one of the best flavoured dry beans and also one of the earliest to mature. Excellent for baking, soups and stews. Dry by mid-August. Huge production in 2023.
