Collection: Bush Dry Bean Seeds (Phaseolus vulgaris)
All the following pinto, chili, soup and salad beans have been selected for early maturity and high productivity as well as for flavour.
The most important thing to note about growing your own dry beans is that they cook up quicker and digest more easily than store-bought ones. You'll also be amazed by their glowing colour compared to store-bought fare.
Best to sow your beans directly into your garden when the soil has warmed up in late spring, from mid-May to mid-June. Thin to about a foot apart and expect about 10 pounds per 50-foot row around the end of summer.
Packets contain 50 or more seeds.
