Collection: Bush Snap Bean Seeds (Phaseolus vulgaris)

Snap beans are ready to harvest in two months or less. Successive direct sowings every 2-3 weeks through midsummer ensures a continuous supply. Thin plants to 8 inches apart.

Beans with yellow pods are usually called Wax Beans or Yellow Wax Beans.

There is no special name for fresh eating beans with purple, red, pink or mottled pods but they sure are special to look at and they are especially yummy. They lose their colour and become green when cooked.

There are dozens of fresh green snap beans available in catalogues and we think ours are the best.

Packets contain 50-70 seeds.
