Collection: Other Grain Seeds
These are all crops you won't normally see in gardens but they all have a lot to say for themselves!
The Teff and Sorghum benefit by starting seeds in flats early spring, then transplanting them out early summer. The Rye, Triticale and Millet are usually direct sown in spring, while Buckwheat shouldn't be planted until there is no chance of frost. Rye and Triticale can also be sown in September or October as overwintering crops.
All of these grains do well in average soil. Try for 2-3 inches apart.
Packets contain 100 seeds or more.
