Collection: Radish Seeds (Raphanus sativus)

Yay for radishes, in salads and slaws, in sandwiches and pickled. Their history goes back thousands of years.

Radishes are a cool weather crop, to be enjoyed in spring or fall. For best results, plant them before June and after mid-August. Like most roots, they don't transplant well and should be sown direct at a depth of about 1/4 inch. They should be thinned to an eventual spacing of an inch or two.
