Sorghum bicolor. Stalks grow to 6 feet, topped with shiny black seedheads. Very ornamental and awesome for flower arrangements but tough to chew as a whole grain, with other sorghum varieties being easier to de-hull. Direct sow in mid-spring and thin to 1 foot apart. Full sun. 90 days.
