Triticum spp. Extremely hardy and productive wheat developed in Italy in the early 1900's. Sow in October to harvest in July. About 5 feet tall with 6-inch seedheads and large grain. Excellent for baking. The second photo is from seedsave.org and they carry lots of interesting grains.
