Deemed to be one of the oldest American bean varieties originating from the NE. Growing to 6 feet/2 metres this pole bean is a dependable producer of large, heavy, round, deep red beans that look like a ripe cranberry and have a rich full-bodied flavour. Delicious at the shelly bean or dry bean stage. Very productive outside and inside - we once grew them in a greenhouse, and the plants went bonkers, climbing over 14 feet and producing massive amounts of beans.
25 or more seeds per packet.
