Heirloom broccoli brought to North America by Italian immigrants in the 1880s. Also called Italian Green Sprouting Broccoli. Large deep bluish green centre heads about 6 inches across. Multiple side shoots after the head is harvested. Staggered growth of plants makes for continuous harvests for many months. Can be grown as an early spring or fall crop. Prefers cool temperatures and regular watering. 100 seeds or more.
