Spinach - Red Malabar

Basella rubra. Vigorous climbing vine from the tropics with thick glossy dark green leaves, red stems and a mild Swiss Chard taste. Thrives in hot, moist conditions, greenhouse ideal. Use leaves and young stems in salads or stir-fries.
