This petite variety of Calendula came to us from the Canary Islands.
It is a more compact plant than your typical calendula, making it an excellent option for smaller spaces, companion planting or garden borders. It bears an abundance of delicate yellow and orange daisy-shaped flowers, which bloom prolifically throughout the early summer and well into autumn. We find the smaller size of this plant both charming and endearing, and very useful for interplanting.
Calendula is happy to be direct-sown in either the fall or spring. You may also start it in flats to transplant outdoors once the last frost has passed.
