Deemed to be one of the oldest American bean varieties originating from the NE. Growing to 6 feet/2 metres this pole bean is a dependable producer of large, heavy, round, deep red beans that look like a ripe cranberry and have a rich full-bodied flavour. Delicious at the shelly bean or dry bean stage. Grown in a greenhouse in 2020, the plants went bonkers, climbed to over 14 feet and produced massive amounts of beans. 25 or more seeds per packet.
