Brassica rapa. Green-stemmed bok choi that is much slower to bolt than white-stem baby bok chois. Tender greens for soups, salads, stir-fries. Start in early spring and harvest before the summer heat hits. Seeded in August will provide greens by September and will hold well into winter. A great choice for greenhouse or cold frame winter production. Protect from slugs-they love the tender leaves.
